This was one of those weeks that featured nice, steady feelings of happiness and calm and positive vibes, followed by one ridiculous Friday afternoon filled with mind-blowing, teeth-grinding irritations that made me want to say THE HELL WITH EVERYTHING AS IT EXISTS NOW.
The details aren’t important. It’s one of those things that will be resolved naturally. I don’t know what that “naturally” will be but in the grand scheme of things it’s really not that important. Though in that triviality lies much importance. (Sorry that’s so vague; that’s all I want to say about it.)
But my new contact lenses came and I ate an entire tub of Ben & Jerry’s Red Velvet Cake ice cream, so things can’t be that bad.
And here’s another great thing that happened this week: the first issue of the print edition of Paleo-Future mag is out! If you’re not familiar with Paleo-Future, it’s a blog run by Matt Novak that focuses on past predictions of the future. It’s a great blog and now it’s a great print mag too, and I’m proud to be part of it. I have a piece in the first issue about the food we saw on The Jetsons.
Have a great weekend.
