I really should be working – or looking for work, which is more work than actual work – but I keep finding new, inventive ways to not do that. Fiddle around with the web site header a bit more? Sure, why not! Change the font and see how that looks? Grand idea! See what a different background would look like with that new font? Yes, and why don’t you spend about two hours on that?
Gah. I think it’s because nothing is happening, work-wise. When there are no nibbles on the job front you sit at your computer and fix things. It makes you feel like you’re accomplishing something. And in a way I suppose you are, a trivial something but a something nonetheless.
(Note: not really.)
