…since I updated this thing? Time flies when you’re sweating and tired.
If you’re a subscriber to The Letter – and at this point I don’t understand why you’re not! – I’m going to stuff them into envelopes this weekend and mail them out next week. Keep an eye on your (snail) mailbox.
I also have another new thing (there’s always a new thing) I’m working on, but I haven’t worked out the details yet. As usual, I’ll post it here first. (Where else would I post it? Social media? Hahahahahahaha!)
In the meantime, you can read this week’s Saturday Evening Post column, where I talk about my love/hate relationship with August, Toni Morrison, Peach Johnnycake, a found submarine, Mr. Goodwrench, and the 50th anniversary of Woodstock. No, not the concert, the other one.
Have a great weekend.
Your latest Post column is great Bob. Everyone needs to read it! The only good thing about summer (years ago) was it meant NOT having to go to school for 3 months, and Mom taking us to the Olympic-sized park pool in Sherman Oaks 7 days a week. The weather was still better then out here too, with hot days not being nearly as hot, and humidity being nearly non-existent.
